Wir bieten ab September 2026 einer Person zwischen 18 und 27 Jahren die Möglichkeit, ein FÖJ in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Verwaltung der KoLa Leipzig zu absolvieren.
Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Büro- und Orga-Team zusammen und bekommst einen umfassenden Einblick in die „unsichtbare“ Arbeit hinter dem Gemüse: Kommunikation, Mitgliederbetreuung, Veranstaltungsorganisation und die Verwaltungsabläufe eines solidarischen Landwirtschaftsbetriebs.

KoLa steht für „Kooperative Landwirtschaft“ und bedeutet, dass sich Verbraucher*innen und Produzent*innen zusammentun, um bessere Bedingungen für Mensch und Natur in der Landwirtschaft zu verwirklichen – weniger CO2-Ausstoß, mehr Artenvielfalt, faire Löhne und gutes Gemüse. Wir wollen zeigen, dass eine andere (Land-)Wirtschaft möglich und attraktiv ist!
Wir bewirtschaften 35 ha und sind derzeit ca. 25 Angestellte. Für unsere 2000 Mitglieder liefern wir wöchentlich frisches Bio-Gemüse und -Obst direkt vom Hof zu Verteilstationen in der Stadt. Mitglieder können ihren Acker besuchen, mitarbeiten und erfahren, wo ihre Lebensmittel herkommen, während ein professionelles Team das Tagesgeschäft übernimmt.

Are you interested in helping shape public relations work, getting to know operational processes and taking on responsibility? Then a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) with us is exactly right for you.
From September 2026, we offer one person between the ages of 18 and 27 the opportunity to complete a FÖJ in Public Relations and Administration at KoLa Leipzig.
You will work closely with our office and organisation team and gain a comprehensive insight into the “invisible” work behind the vegetables: communication, member support, event organisation and the administrative processes of a solidarity-based agricultural project.

Supporting campaigns, farm festivals, info stands and public actions
Administration & organisation
Assisting with order processing and member administration
Gaining insight into bookkeeping, billing and overall business organisation

Supporting member workdays and the annual farm festival
Preparing, accompanying and following up on events

Occasional hands-on work in the farm operation to gain a holistic understanding of daily processes

As in any good team, we also share everyday tasks: cooking and cleaning duties rotate, so everyone takes a turn. Of course, we will support you when you get started.

According to the German Federal Volunteer Service Act, volunteers are treated like employees and trainees. This means you are covered by statutory pension, accident, health, long-term care and unemployment insurance and are entitled to paid leave. Child benefit can continue to be paid upon application, and child benefit tax allowances remain unaffected.

KoLa stands for “cooperative agriculture” and means that consumers and producers join forces to realize better conditions for people and nature in agriculture – less CO2 emissions, more biodiversity, fair wages and good vegetables. We want to show that a different (agricultural) economy is possible and attractive!
We farm 35 ha and are currently about 25 employees. For our 2,000 members, we deliver fresh organic vegetables and fruit directly from the farm to distribution points in the city every week. Members can visit their field, work with us and learn where their food comes from while a professional team handles the day-to-day operations.
