Wir, die Solidarische Landwirtschaft KoLa Leipzig eG, suchen zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine*n gelernte*n Gärtner*in mit Lust an der Vermittlung von Theorie und Praxis des Gärtnerns für unser Projekt „KoLAB – Kooperative Landwirtschaft erleben“, das bis Ende 2027 durch die EU und das Land Sachsen gefördert wird.
Neben der Mitarbeit im Freiland-Team bist du für die gärtnerischen Aspekte unseres Bildungsangebots (mit) zuständig. Dazu gehören Veranstaltungen mit Schulklassen oder Erwachsenen, sowie der Aufbau des „Grünen Klassenzimmers“, eines eigenen Areals mit Außenküche und Mitmachbeet für Bildungsveranstaltungen.

KoLa steht für „Kooperative Landwirtschaft“ und bedeutet, dass sich Verbraucher*innen und Produzent*innen zusammentun, um bessere Bedingungen für Mensch und Natur in der Landwirtschaft zu verwirklichen – weniger CO2-Ausstoß, mehr Artenvielfalt, faire Löhne und gutes Gemüse. Wir wollen zeigen, dass eine andere (Land-)Wirtschaft möglich und attraktiv ist!
Wir bewirtschaften 35 ha und sind derzeit ca. 25 Angestellte. Für unsere 2000 Mitglieder liefern wir wöchentlich frisches Bio-Gemüse und -Obst direkt vom Hof zu Verteilstationen in der Stadt. Mitglieder können ihren Acker besuchen, mitarbeiten und erfahren, wo ihre Lebensmittel herkommen, während ein professionelles Team das Tagesgeschäft übernimmt.
We, the community-supported agriculture cooperative KoLa Leipzig eG, are looking for a qualified gardener to join our team as soon as possible. We are seeking someone passionate about sharing the theory and practice of gardening for our project "KoLAB – Experiencing Cooperative Agriculture," which is funded by the EU and the State of Saxony until the end of 2027.
In addition to working with the field team, you will be (co-)responsible for the horticultural aspects of our educational program. This includes events with school classes and adults, as well as the development of the "Green Classroom," a dedicated area with an outdoor kitchen and a hands-on garden bed for educational events.
Workload: up to 32 hours per week
This is a fixed-term contract until the end of 2027 with the goal of long-term employment.
KoLa stands for “cooperative agriculture” and means that consumers and producers join forces to realize better conditions for people and nature in agriculture – less CO2 emissions, more biodiversity, fair wages and good vegetables. We want to show that a different (agricultural) economy is possible and attractive!
We farm 35 ha and are currently about 25 employees. For our 2,000 members, we deliver fresh organic vegetables and fruit directly from the farm to distribution points in the city every week. Members can visit their field, work with us and learn where their food comes from while a professional team handles the day-to-day operations.

Die letzten Ernteanteile 2023 erhaltet ihr am Freitag, den 22.12.2023 – bitte holt sie unbedingt zeitnah ab, damit das Gemüse Weihnachten nicht alleine verbringen muss.
Die ersten Ernteanteile 2024 liefern wir euch am Montag, den 08.01.2024.
